Volunteer with Us

We solely rely on the generosity of our volunteers who give up their valuable time for the cats in our care.

With your help we will be able to continue to give the cats and kittens the high standard of care that they deserve. Detailed below we have numerous ways that you could lend a hand and get involved. Volunteering is a great way to make friends and also help your local community. We are always on the look out for foster homes as we are constantly having to turn needy cats away due to lack of space.

No matter how much or how little time you can spare, there will be a way for you to lend us a helping hand.

Specific Volunteer Vacancies

Cat Foster Home

Here at Little Paws Rescue, we are looking to expand our team of cat fosterers. We need YOUR help to make a real difference to these cats lives. Fostering cats is such a rewarding, purposeful role to get involved in, and it really does give you a true insight into the world of rescue too.

If you want to give something back to the local animals, please do consider fostering. There is specific criteria that needs to be met but we are happy to discuss this further. If you feel that you would be able to take on this very worthwhile and rewarding role then please email us at

Fundraising Coordinator

This is an exciting new volunteer role where you can make a real difference.

We are looking for a fundraising coordinator to seek out new fundraising initiatives and grants and run with them. We’ll be here to help you along the way. You’ll need to be a self-starter, great communication skills – not being afraid to pick up the phone and chat to people or write emails, computer literate and be committed to our cause. This can be done from home to fit around your existing commitments, so you'll need a computer and internet connection.

We are looking for 2-3 hours a week, more if you can. If you'd like to know more or wish to apply, please email us at

Collection Tin Coordinators

Whilst online giving is growing, people still like to give their spare change to charities.

We need passionate volunteers to help increase the number of locations of our collection tins from Weston-super-Mare to Bristol. We need you to place, log and maintain the tins in local shops and businesses such as newsagents, pubs, cafes, butchers, bakers, post offices, farm shop, chemists – wherever you can find! The more tins out there, the more money raised to help the cats at Little Paws Rescue.

This role is really flexible and can fit around your existing commitments. As an ambassador for the charity, we are looking for a naturally friendly person / people who will enjoy working in their local communities.
